Blue spring mod

I am getting ready to purchase the blue spring. Where is the best place to get it from? I have seen them on eBay with and with out the aluminum cover. Do I need a new cover?

I bought mine at the local International store without the cover for about 30 somethin bucks. You can also get it for a good price with the plate from Tousley Ford. I get most of my small parts from Tousley and have found that they beat all the dealerships around me by far.

Tousley Ford Parts Depot

direct link for the spring..... Tousley Ford Parts Depot

What kind of pressure are people seing with the blue spring. I have had mine in for years and installed a fuel sending unit for my insight.....72psi....double checked with analog and it reads 76psi. will be installing reg return this week to get down to 50. I noticed superdiesel posted he sees a health 65-68 at wot. That is about where I drop down to but 72 @ idle seem extremely high.

72 seems high? I used a Gillete Diesel spring for 3 years without issue, that dude put out 97~100 psi at idle. In fact, it was so high, I thought I had a bad gauge! I only changed because I wanted to see what all of the hub ub was about over the blue spring. Nothing but the idle psi changed when I went to the blue spring, 58~62 PSI. Both springs dipped to about 50~55 at WFO.
