zoodad.. I think i did it right..

The zoodad is up there -- in the pictures -- its the hole with the screen over it

i saw that, guessing its where the intake sucks air??? hope thats not a dumb comment?

looks good to me. i dont even have the screen. i just cut the hole.
what's the screen for , is that just like a "prefilter" to catch bugs and stuff ??

Yes, if ya look at your truck (not true for early 99 models) the intake "snorkle" butts right up against the radiator/IC support. So cutting the hole allows direct air flow from the front of the vehicle = cooler air.

and yah, its to keep larger debris out... say bugs and I guess the occasional bird
