EvoII and Elite,&Innovative

When are Elite and Innovative gonna have the capability to put custom tunes on the Edge Evo II like Jody does and also is there a good safe sled pulling tune for a factory 6.0without head studs and if there is has anyone ever used it how far you pull.

I just like the mounting of the EvoII better than Livewire but I think I would like the custom tunes I think they would be a better result

Can't help you on that one, but might be a good question to shoot at Innovative and Elite.

I pull with my innovative Xtreme race tune, but I have studs. I don't know if there is such a thing as a "safe" pulling tune. Really the pulling tunes don't differ much from the race files, that's what I was told by Ted at Innovative. I know quite a few guys are running in pulls w/o headstuds and putting down the same power I am. Are they safe to do so? I don't know that answer but I haven't seen one of them blow a gasket yet. My assumption is that as far as your motor alone goes, pullings not any harder on it than drag racing, or beating the snot out of it on the street. If you want a better answer, try talking directly to your tuner of choice, I'm sure he'll be able to explain it best and help you find a solution.

Call DP tuner back and ask to speak with Bill. Bill is who is doing the EVO II custom tunes. I am sure he could answer all your questions. Make you comfortable going with his custom tunes, and not worring about what the other guys are doing.

I agree with you the Livewire is not very apealing. Looks like a radio shack project suction cupped to the windshield of your 50K truck, with wires hanging out the front. I don't know what SCT was thinking. I would go with Xcal II and gauges for 10 times the price before I would buy the Livewire.

I emailed DJ a while back with that exact question...
Here's their answer:

We can only custom tune the 7.3L evolutions. I am sorry we can not
reflash the 6.0 evolutions.
