SCT X3 or SCT Livewire
I have decided to go with an SCT Tuner from ID and everyone keeps telling me to get the X3. My question is, Whats the difference between the X3 and the Livewire. I really like the Livewire do to that fact that it has the moniter with the gauges built in. Seems like it would save me time and money over using the X3 and installing a gauge pod. From what I have read on the ID website, both tuners seem to do the same thing. Im just looking for some help from someone who knows what they're talking about. Thanks.

The Livewire will do all the same things that the x3 will do. It also monitors 6 pids at once so you can substitute it for gauges. I have the Livewire and it works fine for me. Now the hot ticket now days is getting an X3 and using an Edge Insight to monitor with. The edge is smaller and looks more updated than the bulky Livewire. Plus the edge will monitor a few things that the Livewire will not. I went with the Livewire because I got a real good deal on it and I am happy with it. But really it's up to you on which way to go.
