I am looking at getting a SCT X3 that has been tuned by Pure Diesel Power and was wondering if anyone has dealt with this company before and knows if they are any good at writing tunes.

I have bought some stuff from them, but never any tunes. If they do write custom tunes, I don't think they have a lot of guys on the forums running them.

buy the X3 from them.. then get your tunes from Eric, vivian, or php

I don't see the X3 listed on their website, only the SF3 and Livewire. Not seeing custom tunes either.

They do have the X3 and also offer custom tunes. Here is the link for what I was looking at. 6.0L Ford Powerstroke SCT EGR Delete Combo

Apparently they have been doing this since Oct of 2010 (judging by the catalog addition of this package), but I have yet to see a single review on their tuning files. They may contract the tuning itself to another tuner, it would be worth asking about before purchase.

Could be a crap shoot as to weather the files work out for you, or you will be looking somewhere else for these tunes.

If you do choose to run their tunes, be sure to post up a review on them.
