Maybe I should have waited

This morning I loaded my SRL tune from Matt as I left work this morning. As the rain is pouring down my thought was I already had PHP Atlas 40 tune, how much more power is it going to add? Let me just say A TON! Now as I am driving home in a rainstorm, probably looking like a kid in one of those riceburners trying to drift everywhere, I am thinking maybe I should have waited until the roads were dry to try this out for the first time. I know everyone says this but it is a different truck. When I went from stock to Atlas 40 I thought it was awesome, now to add SRL on top of that lead me to think just 1 thing....

Time to increase the funding in the new tire account, and maybe some extra in the legal fund!!

Nothing but great things to say about this truck, PHP tunes, and Matt's tunes. I thought my V10 was great, but now I have seen the light. Thanks to everyone here for all the great info and recommendations.

It's a great feeling when you can blow the doors off most muscle cars on the rode lol. Congrats on getting it custom tuned and like zmann said it will get stronger in the next few days!

It is an awesome tune. I'm very happy with the SRL+. I'm now debating the FICM tune to go with it. No wonder everyone says adding power is addicting. It's a dangerous addiction!

Got a question for the guys that have Matt's tune. If you are driving, then have to coast and then get back on it how much smoke do you guys put out. Today I was traveling on the interstate and had to slow down because I got pinned behind a semi. There was a small gap so I hit the skinny pedal and it was responsive but started to smoke quite a bit for a couple seconds. Is this normal for what you guys are seeing or do I need to have Matt rework my tunes?

Yea the dang torque converter lockup... I have the same issue. Im not a fan of the aggresive TC lockup..

I know it is somewhat necessary, just wish it would disengage easier.

I run Matt's 8000 lb tow tune based off of vxcf9h7 strategy. I had no smoke with tow tune and stock ficm program or php econo. When i loaded atlas 40 with tow tune it woke truck up. I have some smoke on take off and like yours on highway too but it clears up fast and runs darn good.
