EGT Question

I just had an EGT probe installed and I am monitoring it via my CTS. I am running an 80hp daily driver tune along with an Atlas 40 FICM tune.

I am seeing regular egts of 500-700 just cruising, but if I nail it from a roll it get up to the 1100-1300 range quickly.

Would you say this is normal? This is my first 6.0.

It is with my 2004 Excursion.

Thanks!

Thank you sir. I have just been curious as I tend to get too analytical about new stuff and watch too closely probably.

Loving the tunes though. Bill seems to know his stuff.

Thanks.

PGreenSVT,

you like your Airaid intake? Would you buy it again? Contemplating what to do next is why I ask. Can you hear any difference than with the stock intake?
