Tryin to make the Excursion GO FAST!
Finally pulling my Excursion in (hasn't ran in over 3 months) for some work. It has blown head gaskets and a bad IPR. I've been looking forward to this for awhile and finally got some room in the shop. I'm also needing some help coming up with a name for my Excursion...post any suggestions. I'll post pics later.

This sounds like a solid build for sure. There are two things though that I wouldn't do. One is the AD2 fuel pump. I would HIGHLY suggest just getting either an AD150 and Fuelab or A1000 or just the Fuelab. Either set up would need a sump of course. Just too many failure rates for me on this.
I also recommend using 90* fittings on the fuel ports on the heads. These will flow way more than drilled banjos and wont be weak from torquing. I ran Strictly Diesels RR kit with High Flow banjo bolts made from stainless steel and they couldn't take 20ft-lbs of torque without twisting. I have been using 90* 6AN male to M12x1.5 male adapters and they have held up GREAT. Again JMO on this. Take it FWIW. Best of luck with the build, sounds SICK. |

I agree that you should get a regulate return, and stay away from the airdog II. Also, have you looking onto manifolds like the steeds or MPD's, if you get them with the up pipes, most places will usually give you a deal. Instead of an intake elbow, you might want to look at a No-Limit CAC pipe. They look sweet and work great.
Sounds like that will be an awesome truck. What are the plans for your tranny? Good Luck! |

There will be a regulated return. We have our own headers and getting Matt at Cutting Edge to do my up-pipes.
