Glow Shift vs. Autometer

Thoughts on the Glow Shift guages vs Autometer? I am looking to do boost, pyro, tranny temp, and fuel pressure. Really like the idea of Glow Shifts 3 in 1 guage as I would get the monitoring I want in 2 guages, not to mention the price difference. Let me know your thoughts/experiences.

I see in your other thread, you have ordered a ScangaugeII. So no need for us to harp on you.

IMO, you get what you pay for. I would go with the Autometers. I've been running Autometers (boost, EGT, TFT, ECT, FP) in my truck for 7 years without issues.

I ordered the Scanguage to see EOT, ECT, FICM, and volts. The pillar guages will do the rest. I have never had an issue with the autometer and I know they're a good product. I just like the 3 in 1 idea!

I had glowshifts in my truck when I bought it now 1 year later and the Trans and egt gauges just swing back and forth while they are plugged in. So they are unplugged not doing anything. I have a cts so I can still read everything. Be money ahead and buy yourself some quality gauges and be done with it. Espically with the vital info they are giving you on your truck. Fixing to order me some autometer es gauges for my truck.

I have Glowshifts Quad pod Boost, EGT, Tranny Temp, and Fuel Pressure in my truck for a year now with no problems! I love them and see now problems with running them!

I can't see myself spending 500-700 on gauges

EDIT:

I just noticed I have the exact same gauges that you want

I have four GlowShift gauges in my pillar pod and I love them. They work awesome! Gauges came with all hardware needed and were easy to install. I run boost, trans temp, EGT, and fuel pressue.

I priced out the Autometers at $475 + 40 for the pod!

GlowShifts are $249 with the pod.

I know you get what you pay for MOST of the time and I dont want to end up with junk. Good to hear the testimonies.
