I used the adaptor from Strictly Diesel, it comes with a length of hose so you can place the sensor where there's room.

Glow shift sucks if you get one of the 7color ones the ending unit rubs your radiator hose I call and said I could put a hose on it but they don't sell one but if I would have bought the digital guage the sending unit is smaller. Said they never herd of my problem. Has any one had this problem. 79$ for guage had to by wire and stuff to hook it up 8$ adapter now 50$ for hose from strickly diesel. Dam sounds like bull **** why don't they tell you this **** could have bought the 3 pod for what its going to cost me for one. JUNK.

I don't know what to tell you except it is what it is. The gauge is not custom made for a Ford 6.0, it's a universal setup used in lots of applications. Buy a different brand if you're not happy with it.

Stomp your feet some more dude. Or help yourself and go to napa with the adapter and sender and get a 45 or 90 brass elbow. Good greif...some people.

By the way just measured and sending unit to long will either hit fan or intake. Guess that won't work will have to get hose.

Glow Shift vs. Autometer

Look I understand the frustration. Been there before with having things apart and needing something else. Strictly Diesel didnt make that line for 'just glow shift' it's for any sending unit that has same issue. Also to get it away from the heat and vibration it would get in that location. But cAlling a company 'junk' for that reason when sending units for much more expensive gauges can have the same problem is why people were gettin on u I assume

Well when I called the the said I couldn't use a hose longer than 12 inches and they where working on one why didn't they say I would have to get one some where else seems they know about the issue. Now the hose from strickly diesel is 36 inches and they said it want work. So I asked what do I do they said not sure. They said try a hose off a grease gun.
