CCV

Im thinking my next mod is going to be the CCV. Any recommendations? Is there a good kit out there that has everything? Are there any negatives to doing this mod?

All you need is about 10 ft of 7/8" ID hose, two hose clamps and a few zipties. Vent to the atmosphere along the frame rail under the cab. done.

No. Some say it smells, or will leave oil drips, but I, as well as many others, have never experienced that. If I let it idle for a very long time and stick my nose down by the tube, I can get just a little smell, but not noticable unless you are looking for it.

I have smelled mine on occasion, but like Adam, I haven't had any negative issues.

I have been kicking this idea around as well.
I think I am going to just run it from where it is to the back of the truck and maybe make a little catch can for it out of pvc.

I may pull the ficm back off and flip the ccv box thing around so the hose goes out the back.

Don't weld a nipple and dump it into your exhaust as your ccv runs in slight vacuum and if you put it in your exhaust the exhaust will pressurize the ccv and cause more problems.
