CCV
Im thinking my next mod is going to be the CCV. Any recommendations? Is there a good kit out there that has everything? Are there any negatives to doing this mod?

All you need is about 10 ft of 7/8" ID hose, two hose clamps and a few zipties. Vent to the atmosphere along the frame rail under the cab. done.

TooMuch, are there any negatives to having this mod?

No. Some say it smells, or will leave oil drips, but I, as well as many others, have never experienced that. If I let it idle for a very long time and stick my nose down by the tube, I can get just a little smell, but not noticable unless you are looking for it.

I have smelled mine on occasion, but like Adam, I haven't had any negative issues.

dont forget like 3x3inch pvc to replace the old metal CCV thingy. when i did it my turbo and intake were filthy, did the mod now like 4 months later still spotless inside and in the turbo. i left it open in the engine bay i see a bit of gasses leaving the hood once in a while nothing major

I have been kicking this idea around as well.
I think I am going to just run it from where it is to the back of the truck and maybe make a little catch can for it out of pvc. I may pull the ficm back off and flip the ccv box thing around so the hose goes out the back. |

ive been wanting to weld a nipple on my exhaust and run the gasses through the exhaust

Don't weld a nipple and dump it into your exhaust as your ccv runs in slight vacuum and if you put it in your exhaust the exhaust will pressurize the ccv and cause more problems.
