Installing diamond eye Turbo back kit
I ordered my lot yesterday and will be installing it myself.
My question ...can the stock downpipe come out without cutting? Does the kit come with o2 sensor bungs and reuse the oem sensors? Sent from my Motorola Electrify using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

there aren't any sensors in a 6.0 exhaust.
I'm sure the stock downpipe can come out without cutting it but it makes it a lot easier to cut it. |

pretty sure every 6.4 and 6.7 have sensors in the exhaust. I don't know what kind of sensors they are tho.

Is the kit pretty easy to install without a lift and no extra hands? Sent from my Motorola Electrify using AutoGuide.Com Free App |

your gonna want extra hands! call some buddies or a buddy and tell them you will buy them a 24 pack for helpin. makes life easier and yes cut the pipe. if not you gotta take the transmission cross member out. and for the o2 sensors we dont have them in the exhaust.

Extra pair of hands s almost a must when it comes to the final mesuring and cuttng for the final fit and finsh. I tried doing it by myself........ epic fail.

It can be done by yourself, I did mine 3 times in 6 hours.
![]() I don't really see a way to get your down pipe off without cutting it. |

Check your kit and make sure it is complete and every thing is bent and notched correctly before you start installing. I didn't check mine before I took a sawzall to my stock exhaust and none of the pipes were notched so I notched them with a sawzall to get the bands to suck the pipes together. Ended up taking to a muffler shop afterward and having the joints welded together. At the muffler shop they told me to use muffler compound on the joints next time, it will prevent any leaks and will keep the joints from moving. They said high temp rtv will work also.
