I have an X3 tuner and has been working fine for close to a year until I got a message saying "filesystem error needs to be reloaded". I tried reloading the firmware, but after completing I get the same message on the tuner. Any ideas on what else to try?

Call SCT when at your computer with the tuner. Sounds like your firmware update got hung up in mid update. They can remote into your computer and fix it though,

i need to update my firmware because my tuner says filesystem error but my truck is stuck on a tace tune because of it so what should i do... im pretty sure i have my stock tune saved on my computer

i cant find a stock tune on my computer so now i dont know what to do

that's bad // keep looking

otherwise you may need to reflash the PCM at ford and send your SCT back in for 150 dollar reset


or sometimes they can help you over the phone like suggested above

the oem tune should be kept in multiple places

LFU file type like x3lw

yeah i couldve sworn i saved it a lot just because i was weary about tuning my truck but anyway if i find it can i just update my tuner and reload the stock tune into the tuner because my truck is stuck on a race tune at the moment and its a horrible tune

i finally found it i think. its labeled stock anyway and its an lfu file.
