ARP Head Studs Question

Hey everyone hope you can help me out as I can't find any info on here or the net on this. Why is it that different vendors are selling ARP head studs and advertising the same part number ARP 250-4202 with varying tensile strengths such as 190,000 - 220,000?

I'm not exactly sure where you got those numbers from but I'm pretty positive all ARP Studs are the same for the 6.0. If your doubting that give any good diesel vender a call.

XDP, RiffRaff, or GoGo should be able to steer you in the right direction. I know a lot of guys even buy them off eBay I don't see what the difference would be but maybe someone else will chime in and better educate us on studs?

I agree but do a search for arp studs for the 6.0l and look at the product description on different vendors sites they vary from as low as 190,000 to as high as 220,000 before you get to the custom aged ones for like $1300

That's just like a lot of websites say a certain tuner will give you 150hp and another website says the same exact tuner will give you a 120hp.

Like the guy above said. Give a someone like xdp or someone else a call and they will be able to give you the correct answer for sure

Do a search for Browns Diesel. If you call, you can get ARP's for $398 shipped. Might have gone up but that used to be his going rate.

I did a lot of searching for the best price on ARP. Currently the best I found is a company (I forget the name) selling on Amazon. They are $430 shipped.

Eww... He must have raised his prices. I know he would always drop it a few bucks if you called and mentioned seeing it somewhere else cheaper.

you can get them from autoplicity.com for $403 shipped. at least thats what it costs to ship it to me. they are $391 before shipping.
