question about my sct
i just picked up my sct tuner, i couldnt wait to load it and pull out on the high and give her hell. my question is after you load the tune does it take time for the truck settings to change or does it all change as soon as the tune is loaded? i drive home after getting the tuner ( about 10 miles) and did not see any gut sucking, head slinging smoke rolling performance.

After loading a tune, it will be instant power. Did you buy it used or new? Which model SCT, X3,SF3, LW, TSX?
Even the canned tow tunes have a noticable power increase.

It's a used x2. I took it to a Sct dealer that reprogrammed it to my truck and loaded custom tunes on it. I could tell a power increase but it's nothin like I thought I would get. I also have a 2012 mustang gt and I was told after I program my truck that it would almost run like my mustang. I don't think it will touch my pony

Sounds like it didn't load right. What tune name did they load?
Also, Are they gonna email you your tunes? If not, you won't be able to save them to your PC so you can try other tune writers without loosing the ones you just bought.

Be careful for a few days before you go kicking it, your transmission needs time to re-learn with the new found power. Are you sure the transmission wasnt slipping or not performing right and not putting down the power?

JMS is the dealer. The owner of SCT owns JMS. It is there in house custom tunes.

Yes that is them. Ok I returned my truck to stock and then reloaded. WOW. Big differance. Do you have a tuner and if so where did your tunes come from
