i got a 06 powerstroke posted early forms my fins in my turb broke actually the emply back plate on the turbo broke getin new stock turbo luckly under warrenty ford guys said it would cut my 6.0's life in half if i got a tuner and stuff for it should i still do it?

y a thought it was a little fare fetched cuz my friends cousin has a 6.0 with a 4 postion chip in it and it will smoke more than any cummins and it runs great

I'd definately listen to Marc -- to me they are just trying to keep you from getting a tuner by trying to scare you. Should be no luck involved about the turbo being replaced -- it broke within 100K miles, so they should replace it no questions asked
good luck and tune away -- SCT is the way to go on the 6.0L!

im glad i didnt have a tuner in my truck when the turbo broke cause that turbo bein replaced cost 1600 in all
