I installed the studs finger tight then backed off a 1/4 turn.
nuts are 210 with the new lube and use lots of it.
I ordered a tube of it so I had enough as the little packet that comes with them is not enough.
dont forget the 3 steps on the torques
and if you get any popping turn it out and start over with that one.
I skimmed over the instructions so I must have missed the part about finger tight. Thanks for the info though, I have a tendency to over tighten everything.:doh:
This is what I did mine at follow the new ford sequence (same as on the ARP sheet) and the same number of stages but with torque specs (65-85-135-185-210) then the uppers at 18 then 23.
there is no way you could get the Allen wrench to tighten that much
