Edge CTS Dash Mount

Looking at an Edge CTS to monitor engine functions. Don't want to lose the pilar grab handle with a pilar mount, so I'm looking at the dash mount. Anyone here have the dash mount? How does it fit the Ford PSD dash? My truck is 2006 F250 and wondering if Edge's mount is worth the money?

Thanks,
Richard

I did something similar to white59rt, but used a piece of 1" thick pine. I trimmed the plastic mount like he did, and screwed it to the pine piece I cut and molded to fit inside the dash mount. I also trimmed down the bottom of the dash mount a little bit to make sure the top of the CTS did not vibrate and constantly hit the bottom of the handle. I am on vacation right now and don't have pictures with me. I will take some tomorrow and post them up.

Thanks guys, but I'm still kinda undecided right now on the mount. Reading other posts tells me the dash mount is not a good fit and even with that, it needs the adapter. Kinda cheesy if you ask me, when they come out with a new monitor and then just cobble two pieces together to make it work.
