edge tow mode

Hi All Does the tow button on the shift lever also need to be activated when using edge in tow mode? I have a 2005 f350

Tow mode is just "safe" power from the Edge. It in now way really tunes the trans at all and tow/haul changes shifting and TC lockups.

OK so I should engage the stock Tow when towing?

Depends on how much you are towing, keep it light and there wouldn't be much of an issue. If you are over 6K, and I'd put it back to stock.

I know its addressed alot here, but I strongly feel if you are going to tow with any form of aftermarket tuning, it needs to be a custom file from an SCT.
