Hey all!!

I'm new to the forum! My name is Ryatt (yes, it's pronounced riot. Hah), but I'm better known as Lofty on,, and I drive a 2005 F-250 CCSB. This is my FIRST diesel. Honestly seems to be a pretty intimidating project compared to my Talon, 240sx and my R1. You will not meet another guy as motivated as myself to learn! I work out in the oil patch, so my new toy gets driven often, but I want to, and WILL mod this truck EXACTLY how I see it in my head. I want this truck to be "doomsday" proof. So, I'm thinking build the motor and transmission to hold 700ish WHP reliably. But I won't be near that power. I'm thinking I will be just over 500 or so. I tow often so I don't want crazy fuel upgrades. I have sort have pieced together a build sheet, so I want everyone to look it over and add some input!

RCD rods (maybe cut down a little? Defenitly balanced)
Go-Go stage 1 beehive springs
Go-Go ported intake manifold
Go-Go 7/16ths pushrods
Full EGR delete (not sure what company)
Bulletproof oil cooler
ARP head studs, main studs rod bolts.
All new OEM gaskets
Obviously all machine work as well

Stage 2 or 3 twisted?
RCD torque converter (I have NO IDEA what stall speed to go with?!)

Regulated return?
Warren 155cc/30% injectors
I really have NO idea on fuel haha help me out with this.

Air induction
AFE stage II intake (maybe S&B?)
CFM largemouth intake elbow with oversized inter cooler pipe
Spearco intercooler
Powermaxx?? (would there be a better option for my goals?)
Is there really anything in this category?

AEM water/meth injection (I hear window washer fluid is the best option?)

SCT tuner (custom tunes by....?)
58v FICM (company???)

This list will more then likely change and grow, as of right now this is all I can really think of. ANY help and input is much needed and appreciated!

500whp won't require any building of the bottom end.

Go-Go ported intake manifold
BPD Oil cooler setup.
ARP head studs/ OEM gaskets.
Warren 155/100.
AD2 165.
SCT tuner (Vivian at quick tricks is good)
Edge Insight (ECT, EOT, FICM V, TFT, ICP, EGT, BOOST, FP) need to be monitored.

Rods and built bottom end parts aren't needed for a power goal like yours. Now I would suggest a stage 2 MTW turbo, search for lots of information about it.

The powermaxx is not much more of a turbo then the stock one you have. I would upgrade to an aftermarket intake. The other parts you listed are not required for a 500whp truck.

There are other parts like stand pipes and dummy plugs etc.. which I have missed but you will find in the General section at the top stickied.
