Chips , power packages Increase or Decrease Engine Life?

seriously , would these power packages say from banks increase or decrease the engine life for a daily driver?

they really should not have a affect on the life of the truck, just as long as you dont run it on the highest setting all the time, just like anything. For a daily driver their are many options that you could go with that would be a lot less money as just as good quality. just my

the safest way to make the most power for the SCT. we all know this. but engine longevity has as much to do with the the way you drive and maintain your engine than the programmer, actually more.
you could take a stock truck and beat the piss out of it on a daily basis and you could take one with enough mods to have 500HP at the wheels, but only get on it every once in a while, and always warming up / cooling down properly, and the stock will crap out first..


but there is certainly truth to the old saying: the candle that burns twice as bright, only burns half as long.
