stc fittings

I seen a few people talking about stc fittings im pretty new to this i was just wondering what they are, where they're located, and why they need to be updated

STC fittings are "Snap to Connect" it looks like a Quick disconnect for a garden hose. It is just what connects the High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP) to the Branch tube They are prone to fail and leak high pressure Oil. This results in NO start when the engine is warm.
