SCT performance tune safe?

ive been running my sct on the performance tune that comes with it on my truck for a couple months just driving around town with the occasional pedal to the metal i was just wondering if im causeing any damage should set it back on a lower setting

I ran my 05 on Innovative Diesels Extreme Race file daily for 38K miles, and no problems.

do you have the livewire?? can you see your guages? a LOT of people run the performance tune b/c it gives better mileage if you keep your foot out of it, but is ready to go if you need to..

I would think with the intake and exhaust - you shouldn't really have enough HP to hurt anything internally on your truck..

but -- every truck is different and some stock trucks have headgasket probs. if everything is reading within normal ranges, I'd say you were okay.

i've run my truck for over 30k miles with one sort of programmer or another, and always on the most powerful setting. i've never had a problem.
some people have problems even without a tuner, just depends on if you got a good one or not
