stock cooler & piping -vs- Banks cooler & piping on my truck

Ok well I wanted to get a before and after so I took some readings today on my stock setup and since we have a few days of good weather I'll be swapping out the stock stuff and installing the banks cooler setup to see the difference. BTW I have the mods listed in my sig and my EGR is turned off.

Stock 2 readings I saw over a 20 mile drive
IAT1 = 84*F / IAT2 = 125*F
IAT1 = 86*F / IAT2 = 129*F

Once I get the Banks installed I'll update this.

This should be interesting. Can you also give us your thoughts on how throttle response and spool up have changed if at all.

Yes, I will Thats why I did the PM before the cooler. I also had Eric@IDP update all my tunes for the PM so I should be good there. I'm also getting a mileage reading with the PM and then the PM with the cooler over my stock setup.

Im interested in the spool time difference. Once the turbo lights the flow will be much much better for the engine and turbo. But the lerger pipes and intercooler add volume.

Yea I wanted to get before and after on the turbo temps from stock to PM but I may do that at a later date when I get a wild hair. My big thing even more than EGT's was to watch air temps before the turbo and after the turbo and cooler.
