Tune question

Do any of you know if the TC can be locked in high gear even if you let off the gas pedal completly? What I'm looking for is when I'm on the Freeway running 60+ MPH and if I let off the gas to let someone if front of me or let off because someone slowed down, then I'm back on the gas (just to maintain my 60+ MPH speed) I want the TC to stay locked. My wifes BMW does this and I like that it doesn't rev up then lock when I do the same procedure. I would like my truck to act the same way.

The SPD tune with Early lock up keeps the torque converter locked even when you let off the throttle as long as your above 45mph. This is one of the features I absolutely love about this tune. With other tunes like you say I let off and it unlocks then revs up and finally locks again, not with the SPD. Only time it unlocks is if I touch the brakes or the speed drops below 45mph or I stand in the throttle obviously.

P.S. this may be a feature that Vivian can tweak the Looney tune to do. I haven't contacted her about it, but I know it doesn't stay locked on my Looney Wild when you lift off the throttle.

Thanks...I've worked with Vivian a little on it with the regular Looney and she hasn't got it locked yet. (I've only contacted her a couple times) I am happy with her tune other than this. And to her credit I haven't complained or indicated it was a priority. I don't want to drive her crazy.

I've never heard of the SPD tune. Who's tune is that and where can I get it?

Its from Truck source diesel. Chris is not taking new customers until July because they are moving locations. I talked to him today.

it's the super panty dropper tune from tsd, truck source diesel. I believe his name is chris, but it's to my understanding that you won't be able to get a tune from tsd for close to a month, as they are moving into a new building
