Powermax?

I was thinking of getting the powermax turbo to be honest just for the sound. It also lowers egts and supports more power which is a definent plus. But my question is what other options do I have for around the 1300 dollar price range?

Sounds great and pulls great on 3rd n 5th gear. Going with a bigger turbo

And with the powermax would it be ok to drive with out custom tuning for a few weeks until I get tunes from IDP?
