It's the only reason I bought them. My current batteries are only 26months old from SAMS but with a new FICM and the sale had to do it.

My current batteries are shot. If it wasn't for a 200a alternator, I'd be parked right now.

What kind of alt are you running to get 200amps and what part of FL are you in?

After a lot of research, I bought an alternator from High Output Alternator, 200-250-300-350 Amp Alternators, high output alternators, GM,Ford, Chrysler Dodge Alternators and couldn't be happier.

I'm just north of Bradenton / Ellenton here in sunny FL.

I'm in Delray on the east coast. How long have you had that altenator? It looks and sounds like a good unit?

I've had it 2-3 years and have been really happy with it. I'd definitely buy another one if I ever needed to.

Yeah they are pricey but I hear good things. I almost bought some Optimas last week, glad I didnt. I dont really need them now but its coming up on 3 years of having these SAMS batteries and I just put in a new FICM.

Now if I can just get my fuel pressure problem fixed!
