Opps, And now reality

OK so I hand calc'ed the PCM this weekend and the FICM tune effected the accuracy of the meter. Previously the PCM was .5 mpg high, now it is 2.5mpg high. So what looked like a 3 mpg impprovement is actually a 1 mpg improvement. I am going to continue to run the numbers and give you a full report when I am done

Yea the tuning seems to effect some of them. Mine always reads like 2-3mpg higher than what it's really getting.

Mine said I was getting 99.9 once when I was racing a friend's cummins then I hand calced it and it was like 9.8. But on the plus side I was beating the cummins

Mine is about the same on SRL+ as it was stock, and it's not off a set amount as many of you have posted. Mine will vary on either side of correct and be in a range of almost perfect to +/- 20%. SRL+ seems to have made an improvement of about 1-1/2 to 2 MPG or 10-15%.

I am running another tank to hand calc to compare and will see how it does. Then I will get mileage again and re-do the numbers for +40. Then I will try +80 and finally back to Econ.
Bottom line the truck does run better with the FICM tuning from PHP but the book is still open on the economy improvement.
