Best Mileage Tune for Upgrade Injectors/Turbo
Which tunes are you guys getting the best mileage with for upgraded turbo and injectors?
Please include your tune writer, tune name, and your trucks setup. I have Casserly 190/75's, PowerMax turbo, and an AirDog 2. Currently have Xtreme Street Full Fuel and Reduced Fuel, and SRL+ Full Fuel and Reduced Fuel. I have heard Vivian's tunes get the best mileage though. What do you guys think? Maybe SPD from TSD? I'm leaving for the beach Tuesday, and would like a good mileage tune to run for the trip. If there are no suggestions, I'll be running the SRL+ full fuel, as thats the tune I think will get the best mileage. |

That tune has to run hotter than he11 and smoke like a freight train. I don't see any full fuel being a good tune for a Powermax for your setup.

It's not all that hot, but it sure is smokey. I got the PowerMax for $600, so I figured it'll clean it up better than my stock turbo. It's just a stepping stone, it will be built into a billet 68mm before too long.

you might try the super panty dropper, i think its a progressive fueling tune based on throttle position, matt from gearheads does it the same way

I don't have an upgraded turbo but I do got bigger sticks and the Looney Wild gets a significant amount better mpg than my SPD on long trips. Around town they are pretty much the same, but I don't drive for fuel mileage in town either lol

What re you getting mpg wise now? I had a pmax with 175/100's several months ago and with 3.73 gears and 275/65/20 tires averaged around 17mpg overall. It was live tuned and the throttle worked progessivley like these guys talk about. Those big tires aren't helping either. I remember the first pull on the dyno when tuning mine, it shot right to 1800* and we backed off, had to pull a good amount of fuel out even for 175's, the tuners may be able to choke your injectors off a bunch and theat may lead to a mpg pickup as well, not very big but something.
