turbo upgrade

Along with my gaskets being bad I was told my turbo isn't doing so well. A lot of oil in my intake manifold and exhaust pipes. Due to a weak turbo my shop says might be the culprit.

The truck tows about 5-10k daily, sometimes more. I also play around on the weekends (don't we all) I need a turbo that will work good with stock injectors for now now and give me to upgrade to larger ones if needed. I like madpowerstroke turbo but they're so new I'm just concerned with longevity. Is the powermax I see everywhere for sale for $1250-$1500 (the one that supports 175 over stock) a 68mm powermax? Just about every website sells it. I want to stick with a vgt turbo.

I would take the risk with the stage 1 turbo from Adrian, and he says he stands behind his work! Also powermax has quite a it of lag increased compared to stock with stock injectors

the Stage 1 (currently what I am running) is an awesome turbo for stock injectors and yes Adrian DOES stand behind his work. If the turbo is f'd, just give him a call. I know one guy had a problem and Adrian paid for shipping both ways. Great dude for sure. JMO.

Yes it can. You just get a stock dmax batmowheel and it will drop right in.
