The Next Day, FICM Tune from PHP

Ok, first the disclaimer, I have yet to calibrate the PCM, but today doing my standard 13 mile route in +40 setting on the PHP Grypon tunner for FICM I averaged 18.9mpg with cruise set at 65mph.

You may recall that at 70mph I achieved 17.2.

So I am getting a 3mpg improvement! I will be going on a trip this weekend and will check the PCM calibration today. I will report results this weekend.

Happy Memorial Day, Ken

If you see a vet this weekend thank them for thier service!!

What size tires are you running dude?? I swear my truck gets better going faster. It's almost like its less strain on the motor and not lugging it down when I run 75-80mph.

The best mileage I ever got in my truck was running 80-90 mph through the mountains.

I wouldn't go off the lie o meter. You need to han calculate it. After my ficm tune 40 hp my lie o meter says 22mpg at 70mph hand calculated its 14 miles a gallon. Fact!
