cheap 6.0 fuel pump??
I havent had a chance yet to check my fuel PSI but i do suspect it to be low by the way it runs. Now i know them hfcm are big money, but if the pump is weak why not just replace it? Or is that a big no no on these trucks?? i found this on eBay...Racor Fuel Transfer Pump Ford Powerstroke 6.0L Diesel 03-07 E/F-Series | eBay
I kind of wonder how replacing just the suspected pump, compares to replacing the whole unit?? As always thanks again fellow Org-ers! |

If the pump is weak, you kinda need to replace it. Why would replacing something that is failing be a no no? What is the difference between the pump and the 'whole unit'? The pump/hfcm is the 'whole unit' to my understanding.
I'm not sure what that is you linked....I believe this is what you're looking for? Motorcraft PFB101 Electric Fuel Pump | eBay Look in the classifieds for people doing 6.0 motor part outs and they will usually have a spare hfcm laying around. Check psa, psn, here and compd I found a pump in a few days. |

what i meant by "no no" is replacing just the pump not good enough, and you should replace the whole hfcm? and Racor makes just the pump, heres another link for a write up on it Racor offers new replacement diesel fuel pump kits: Fleet Equipment and the Racor part number is PFP58054 |

the pump on the out side looks identical, maybe a little long i guess. i know youre better off to buy the whole unit, but if i can save 100$ ill do it, if i know its safe but this case i think ill spend the extra bill
