Well I finally got my SCT Xcal2 today. Eric @ Innovative was very responsive and sent me an economy, a tow aggressive and a street tune within an hour of my email. I downloaded my tunes and took it for a test drive and I have to say that I am not impressed. I have to call Eric tomorrow and see what's up.

Maybe the tunes for my strategy aren't that aggressive or something along those lines, but there doesn't seem to be a noticeable difference in power. I can feel that the shifting is firmer, but that's about it. Even a boosted launch at 10 psi didn't break the tires loose. I'll play with it some more on the way to work in the morning and then give Eric a call. It's definitely not the "holy cow" that everybody talks about.

Had the same problem with my 06. Return to stock and start over, make sure everything in the cab is turned off. should get you the results you are looking for

Stump, I tried the tow aggressive and the street tunes and didn't see much difference. I thought maybe I did something wrong, but it said it was successful each time I switched.

It kinda ticks me off because I've been a big chicken about getting tuned. I worry about popping a gasket and having the warranty declined. Then I go and take and the plunge and it just doesn't seem to work. Like I said before I'll play with it more in the morning and see what Eric thinks.

Eric sometimes starts his tunes off on the softer side if he knows you are concerned about breaking something.

I was concerned at first myself, so he was "easy" on me. Once he saw what numbers I was actually seeing (boost, EGTs, etc.), he adjusted them.

Matt, you got the regular Street, or the Xtreme Street?

Eric,

It's just a regular street tune. I just returned it to stock and tried to load the street tune again. It's loading fine. I only see about 21 psi boost. Until I get the Commander totally installed tomorrow I don't have much more to go on. I guess I need to get up to the strip with you guys and make a few passes to confirm what the difference is.

I'll get a better feel for it tomorrow. With it being dark and running on back roads, I don't think I'm getting a good feel for it. I still expected it to break the tires loose especially with over 70 psi in them.
