Too many variables to make it a relevant question. Go to the track and you'll find the real answer to your question there.

My truck ran consistent 8.95 on the regular looney non-studded version. Its a CCSB on 35's. Think i remember getting one 8.92 pass. These are 1/8th mile, there's not a 1/4 mile track within 2 hours of me. Those times was with stock injectors, stock fuel pump, stock everything except 4 inch exhaust and looney tune.

Its sad to say that a Eco-Boost kept up with me after $7-8k worth of mods!

Ya know, looking back on it... 8.95 with tune only and exhaust vs 8.60 now with 8 grand invested doesn't seem worth it at all lol

Sneaky little Eco-boost!! I don't matter, because you still out ran him in a heavier truck. I was checking out the Ford Flex forums, with a tune and exhaust they can hit high 13's!!

The catch all is that the eco-boost isn't designed to tow 20K+, regardless of the mods so it's a win situation there. Also, when you consider the power vs weight ratio....another win for the big boys. Not to mention seeing an 8,000 lb truck move that fast is insane!

As for the .30 time difference for $8K...definite loss there, but as long as you're happy with your mods...that's all that's important.

I just ran 14.3 in my 04 F350 with Vivian's Looney Wild Tune and that was with a pathetic 1.9 60' and close to 100 degree temp. With a few attempts and better traction I could get her close to the 13s.

It's a Crew Cab Long Bed 4x4 BTW.

High 13's in a Flex!? That's crazy haha. Looking at the track times .35 doesn't seem like much, but side by side another truck its several truck lengths difference. Motorboy, take it to the track and let us know how she did.
