MAD confusion!!! Need towing data.

With all these MAD threads, it's a little bit confusing keeping track of what's going on.

Can we have a run down of who is running what turbo, if they tow, how much they tow, and could also use more towing data. I know that Bubba has towed, but that was just one time.

Now that the dyno runs we're done, can we get some of those guys to hook a load on their truck and give her H3LL!

Thanks, Rich

I'll try to get a video of me towing ~10k lbs here, hopefully next week if I can get my video camera back (I accidentally left it at family's house when on vacation last week). I have a buddy who needs to haul his 01 F250 to the dealer. So with the weight of the truck and trailer it should come out pretty close to 10k I hope.

I have the MTW Stage 1 (LBZ version of the durastroke) with 190/100 injectors.

Matt (Mwilbur5**) has/had the MTW Stage 2 (4088/gt37 turbo)

Chris (SuperDiesel) has the MTW Stage 1 (LLY version of the durastroke) w/ a batmowheel.

Dont know about Nate (Bubba) I know its a MTW Stage 1 but not sure whether it is LLY or LBZ.

Thanks Nate. I appreciate the info, and am looking forward to any towing results from Adrian's turbos.

I hear that man. I'll tell ya though, my interest lies in the Stage 3 turbo that is in the works. I'm going for a 500hp, single charger truck that can tow the max rated capacity of my truck with a ball hitch (12.5k). I dont need it to be able to tow more than that because I am never going to install a fifth wheel hitch in my bed.

Oh I'm all for getting high HP, but also need to tow. I like your plan, big power and still be able to tow heavy (10k+) with little worry about EGT, surge, and smoke.

Subscribing for the purposes of seeing this data.

My build is kinda limitless in the power spectrum, I'd like to get all I can, but I still need to be able to tow my full GCWR (26K) in the Rockies should I ever have the need.

having done lots of towing, with many different trucks, i would rather tow a fifth wheel any day than a trailer on a ball hitch.
