New air intake fittment issues

Recently bought a S & B intake. Its a nice kit but it doesn't fir with CFM+ upgraded intercooler pipes and intake elbow. S&B said it would but nope. I had to slightly modify the intercooler pipe with a block and hammer to provide extra clearance for the new airbox. Its a snug fit.

The intake is too loud for me, a little annoying. The turbo fart is obnoxious now. My stock air-box plastic clips broke that's why I bought this one. I'm going to keep it but I'm not thrilled with it.

Hmm good to hear, I always figured the intake would make it easier for r&r when working on the truck

If you decide you want to go back to stock then we can work out a deal. My stock box is un-cut and nothing missing! I am planning on a turbo and that should put me in the range of needing a CAI.
