AFE or S&B I would say. I run an Airaid. The best Filter though is the stock Donaldson and it will support about 500 hp before it becomes a hindrance to performance. So, if your are looking for a performance gain spend your money elsewhere.

i was told by one of the big names to run the s&b i can tell u i had the afe stage 1 which is just the air box replacement and it was definately better then stock filter WHEN TOWING. thats all i do every week with the truck now so it was an honest back to back test for an hour ride with 8k in tow. I am getting the s&b in the next 2 weeks.

I have a S&B and I really like it. I have also ran an AFE Stage 2 filter and like it as well. I just like the look of my S&B better and both really seemed to allow the motor to open up. JM Observation. Hope it helps.

I have an Airaid, I have 130k miles on it. I dynoed it and it gained about 30hp on a stock truck, not at peak, but best gain under the curve. I have two filter elements that I wash and exchange. If you have a Zoodad mod you will have to clean any filter more often.
