EGR Delete, Coolant filter, Oil cooler rebuild kit.

I have a 2006 F-250 with 18k for miles. and have a 3 year warranty on it but am in the military so dont drive it much due to deployments . but was wondering when the problems with the EGR and Oil cooler start approximately. I was thinking about just getting a EGR Delete and a coolant filter along with just flushing the coolant system and just ignoring the warranty. my other question other than what your opions on that would be is what EGR deletes and coolant filter you would go with and if needed the oil cooler rebuild kit to go with also, what is a good monitoring system to go with. i was looking at the bullydog watchdog, or the scangauge II. I'm new to powerstrokes so any information is appreciated.

Start with a monitor solution before you throw on any bolt on parts, you may or may not need a oil cooler.

The Watchdog won't monitor as much as a Edge Insight CS/CTS, ScangaugeII, DashBoss, or Torque.

The Edge Insight CS/CTS will do all your monitoring thru the OBDII port and can add the expandable cable to read external sensors for EGT and Fuel psi. Display up to 8 PID's.

The DashBoss for iOS devices (iPhone/iTouch/iPad) will also monitor everything thru the OBDII port and can add external sensors to be watched on the iOS device. Display up to 12 PID's.

The ScangaugeII will read everything thru the OBDII, but you will need to add seperate analog EGT and fuel psi gauges. It can only display 4 PID's.

The Torque app for Android based phones will read everything, but you will need seperate EGT and fuel psi gauges. IIRC, display 6 or 8 PID's.
