Just got custom tune and truck shut off after flooring it?

Let me start off by saying matt@gearhead did an exelent job on the tune I got from him, very impressive to say the least. But when I took the truck out for a spin I floored in once all the way through third gear(starting in 2nd) then the truck shut off

(starts right back up) I floored it again on the way home and it didint do it the second time. Its not his tune becuase on my other extreme race tune it did the same thing. Any one got any ideas?

Either oil or fuel is starving imo

Yeah, my original thought was it was being starved of fuel. If it was the oil, how would that effect it?

powerstrokes inject pressurized oil to lubricate the cylander walls and fire the injectors which means no oil no fuel

One of the two pressures are dropping low and shutting the truck down, that would be my initial guess. Do you have pressure gauges for these two, or are you throwing any codes along with this?

Looks like he has an Edge CTS and fuel pressure gauge.

I just got my gauges and cts in the mail but I havnt had a chance to put them in yet....guess I need to do that first to see whats going on but as of right now no, no codes

your not allowed to put in your sig untell they been fully installed didnt you get that memo

Haha I know, I know. I just made that fancy sig picture when I was waiting for them to come in so I went ahead and threw it in there so I didnt have to go back and redo it
