Does the SCT livewire fuel economy tune really improve MPG?

was curious if the economy setting on the livewire actually helped improve fuel mileage, also is there a signficant difference in the perfomance tune and no tune at all? I currently have a triple dog and when you put it on performance there isnt much difference if any it seems like.

The fuel economy tune i have no clue but have heard from everywhere that normally ur best fuel mileage will come from ur highest hp setting.. u just have to keep ur foot of the skinny pedal. And theres night and day diference in the performance setting and stock. And a custom tune is "IMO" way underpriced for the difference it makes.. around 50-80$ for a custom tune.

Fuel economy, pfft, who cares about that when you're in a 7000lb truck on 35s!?!
