Gyrphon orderd

I ordered the gryphon ficm tuner from php last Wednesday. Got notified should have it Thursday. Can't wait to try this baby out. I plan on running the Hercules tune first. I like to play with fire Haha. Does anyone know if a egt probe off a edge juice will work with the monitor ?

Man.... You gotta wait till Thursday!! LOL! I've been driving around with Atlas 40 the past couple of days, I like Atlas 80 and Hercules better. Gonna have to load up Hercules tomorrow.

I'm not sure if the probe is interchangeable, you would have to ask Bill at PHP.

About 5 minutes. You will remove the FICM relay from under the hood, connect the Gryphon to the OBDII, follow the instructions on the screen, turn key on then off, then on again, scroll to "programs", scroll to which ever year and tune you have/want, hit enter, the tune loads in about 30 seconds, after it loads then you turn key off, and re-install FICM relay.

I typed that from memory, so I might be off a little. LOL!!

I'm gonna rub it in a little more! HA!!

I talked to PHP and you can get the programer with all the programs and tune your truck and send it back that costs $250 and when you send it back you get a $150 return! Or you can by the whole set up and keep it for $400. Iam going to get this thing but first when i get back from TS on May 20th im going to stud my truck and but some 175's in it!

The Gryphon FICM tuner is $399, this programmer you get to keep as your own. The advantage is, you can swap FICM tunes as much as you want to suit your needs. For example, when towing you will use either the Econ or Atlas 40 with a ECM tune like Vivian's tow/agg tune. Or if you want to run balls out, load up either the Atlas 80 or Hercules FICM tune with a ECM race tune like the SRL, Looney, x-race, ect, ect.

The combinations are at you disposal, I have 26 custom SCT tunes and now have 4 FICM tunes.

That's why I went with this setup. I didn't want to be limited to one tune. Cause I'm the kinda person that usually drives with a full race file all the time. So now I'm probly gonna be hijacking every ups truck I see Haha
