Road Ripper 3000 Trans Installed
After waiting over a month to install my trans, i finally got it done last night... I only have about 20 miles on it.
First off. The trans came already put together with converter and deep pan installed. The trans looks better than new with a freash coat of black.. Looked very professional Installation went very smooth, and straight forward. So far this trans really impresses me.. The shifts are very firm and quick.... it has very good street manners.... I made a couple WOT runs through all the gears (with Super panty Dropper with early lockup) and it never missed a beat.. every shift was spot on!! My spd tune really likes this tranny... To me it feels like the truck pulls harder than it did with the stock trans I would not hesitate to buy another as long as it holds up I replaced the cooler with a brand new one from tousley ford along with the trans and still kept the cost below $4K For the price of it complete i dont think a guy could go wrong with this trans compared to other options out there |

Be interested to see how it holds up too. What kind of power is it supposed to support?

When i talked to Certified Transmission they said it shoul hold up to 600+hp... I am hoping to get some 190s in this summer but that is as far as i am going to build this truck...
And yes i did the install myself with the help of my brother |
