Fuel System

Okay, so my stock fuel pump is getting a little weak. Fuel pressure will drop 2-3 PSI under normal acceleration, and drops quickly under WOT once I hit overdrive (I have to let off at 65 MPH cause it will hit 40 and still dropping.

Here's my issue. I'm broke. April 15th RAPED me this year. I don't plan on upgrading injectors anytime soon. What would be my best option on a budget? AD 150 behind the stock HFCM? Raptor pump?

Any ideas and comments are greatly appreciated.

your stock pump is weak, replace the pump dont waste the money to band aid the problem. Is your fuel pressure spring updated? I would just get a stock replacement HFCM and rebuild the regulator.

Same thing I went threw today at idle I was at 30 psi and would drop to 0 over half throttle. Replaced oem pump got it from oriellys for 220. Got my pressure back up to 40psi. Went too ford got the blue spring 72.00 and now I'm idling at 70psi and it never drops below 65 psi.

Yea the ford regulator sucks monkey nuts. I know RR kits arent required but regardless, I like the fact that they delete and open up the factory regulator and put higher flowing banjo bolts in the loop. Of course you can get RR kits from Dozer's Diesel that get rid of the banjo bolts all together and replace with 90* fittings.

I'm assuming you have changed the fuel filters.

SCT, no studs...yet, Dual OEM intake air filter housings, Banks intercooler & intake elbow, Banks exhaust system, Windrunner ported intake manifold, Bullet Proof Diesel remote oil cooler & thermostat, AirDog2 (plus a couple spares), Power steering filter (Amsoil dual-bypass), MagTec deep ATF pan, Electric oil pre-lub pump, Dakota Digital gauges.
