wastegate

i heard someone say they unplugged their wastegate, what does that do? and is it harmfull to the turbo/engine?

several people here have done it with out any problems. but they all have tuners or chips so they have enought fuel to burn with the extra air.

6.0's don't have wastegates on the turbo's, but yes you can remove the red pressure line from the 7.3's wastegate actuator to help keep the wastegate closed longer to build boost faster.

i have a quadzilla module already, but is their any way to build boost faster, it has terrible lag

Heck he could have been asking about the 7.3's Get rid of the module and go SCT tuner with custom tunes. Most 6.0 members here love the SCT.
