new to 6.0

Well since I am the new guy I will just jump into it.....I am new to the 6.0. I just bought a 2006 6.0. It is a 250SWB. My question is ...is the turbo lag normal? It seem to take a while to kick into powerband. I traded in a 2003 cummins and are they just that different?
Next question is I have read alot of talk about programmers and chips- Which is better and do you have to upgrade the trans if you want just a little more power and mileage?

to the ORG!! From what I have noticed with mine if I firewall it from a dead stop yeah there is turbo lag. If I roll into the throttle much more responsive.

hey are you in Pasadena CA? anyways... they come already pre programmed and you can also get them emailed to you. very simple and HP depends on which tunes you go with and how much you want..... what supporting mods do you have? because in my opinion anything over 120hp is useless unless you got the supporting mods... you'll just be wasting fuel...

I have a 2004 1ton, and the lag isn't to bad for a six speed, it is alot different than a dodge, but I can out ran a dodge once the powerband kicks in for my truck it seems to like about half throtle rather than full, it seems to pick up better that way.
