Bully Dog GT Vin Unlock

Long Story Short...Have a buddy who had a diesel truck and sold it. Not knowing better he didnt return it to stock before selling the truck. He had the tuner sitting in his house and sold it to me. Not knowing any better I plugged it in only to find out it is Vin Locked to his old truck. Am I SOL or can somebody help me? I plan to call bully dog in the morning but I was just hoping somebody knows the process to unlock it.

The GT tuner I bought was the same way. Call bully dog tomorow and they will walk you through unlocking it over the phone. I told them I took the truck to Ford and they re-flashed it and now I cant get it to work. The tech walked me through it over the phone was able to tune the truck 5 minuets later. By the way I swapped to a SCT for the trasmission. I also just went through having to have the truck re-flashed because the bully dog leaves a footprint that makes all other tuners performe badly. I will say the bully dog felt more powerfull then my custom tunes, but it ran hot with my injectors, and the shifting sucked. I think I could hear my trasmission cry out RAPE!! under WOT with the bully dog. That being said I would love to use the GT tuner as a monitor tho. I loved that part of it. Good luck
