I am pretty sure you will need a machined compressor housing then.
I don't think you need to machine anything they are drop in's.Go to XDP,they are great to deal with and have them in stock.I bought a batmowheel off of them for my LLY duramax turbo and it was drop in.As far as the balancing you may hear some one bring up,it's not important.The factory(Garrett) balances the turbine shaft separate from the compressor wheel,the compressor wheel is balanced by thier self so you will have a balance assy. when done.Just remember that a batmowheel for a powermax is not the same as the stocker drop in,and that the threads are reverse on the compreesor wheel.
