Any experience with TS chip?

I have read a hundred posts and nothing but good things about the SCT tuner but I got someone telling me how good a TS chip is here at home. I was just wondering if anyone has used this and how they liked it. I can get it for $500 brand new installed right now cause a customer ordered it and never picked it up. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am not going to put it on until I have an exhaust and gauges though but might possibly go ahead and buy it if it is a good one.
Thanks, Jordan

ts is a good chip, and even better with custom tunes on it.
500 seems kinda pricy, they are super easy to install.

When you can get a XCAL2 that is well known and all of the 6.0L guys that are making big power use it and its only $400 I wouldnt consider it.

The chips are great for 7.3, but I don't think you can get 'em for 6.0's. The SCT x-cal is the way to go for the 6.0.

the ts chip sucks the stock tunes on it suck if you get one get custom tunes on it the ts chip has cost some people their tranies. i used for a week the returned it its a pile of junk. if you want a good chip go with the dp tuner its the best they have good tunes and their trans tunes are good.

Is this for a 6.0 or 7.3?

Assuming it is for a 6.0L since that is the forum you posted it in - I would leave it alone for $500 bucks...

you can get a DP Tuner or Xcal for $500 or less and will have CUSTOM tunes on it..

also, before you do anything with any kind of chip, you better make sure you have the supporting mods like larger exhaust and guages on that 6.0L
