Help Please, just about done

I am doing a egr delete and finishing it up as we speak. My problem is that inside the oil housing there is a small small with a brass fitting on the bottom of it right next to the oil filter stand pipe. Where does that spring go? I believe it just rest right next to the stand pipe, but it seems like it would just fall over. Am I correct that it sits next to the stand pipe and the oil filter goes on top of it?

Never mind, I found the location. I believe it is the oil by pass valve at the botom of the housing. Now I just have to find the right spring. My original one bent. Any one know the part number by chance.
