Extreme Street Trans. issue

got my extreme street last week, and this thing is an absolute monster i love it! better fuel economy, and drive ability is excellent. i how ever have one small issue, on hard accelerations (will not act up what so ever when driven normally) 50% throttle on up it'll get hung up in what feels like 4th gear and not want to shift out of it, or if you keep going it'll neutral then go into 5th or 6th. never did it until i put the tune in it, or the SCT canned tunes. I'm gonna try and put stock tune in it and see what it does. just curious if anyone has had this issue, whether its my tranny (90k miles) cant take the power or a glitch in the tune? thanks for the input guys!

It will load up in each gear before it shifts. Is that what you are feeling? Mine will rip through the first three gears and then hang in fourth before she slams into fifth. I love that feel.

my x-street does that to in 4th it will hang until you let out of it then it will slam into 5th. sometimes it will hang at the rev limiter until you let out

ok that makes me feel a bit better, even when i lift off it hangs there and holds the gear, yours does that too/??? just the neutraling it did today kinda scares me.

I don't run Xstreet much. My daily driver is studded Xrace. That will make you crap your pants the first time you feel the shifts. I have learned to not drink my coffee in the truck unless I want to wear it.

i have the non studded tune, and its amazing it has no problem spinning the four back tires without a boosted launch. i cant even imagine what the stud tunes are like, its gotta be able to keep up with my cobra!

yes it is scary . i absolutely hate everything about the tune, no offense to Eric. i dd srl for 20k.

and for the last 3 days ive been running Extreme Chaos from eric. a revamped version of x-race. it is 1000X better. not even comparable.

Why you don't like the shifts? Extreme Chaos is a good tune. Nothing in the ballpark of a properly set up Xrace but a good tune.

it seems like the trans is always doing something. never wants to stay in a gear. and the shifts are soft to me. like im in town, light turns yellow and you put your foot in it, makes a lot of smoke and raps out but doesn't go anywhere because its trying to find a gear. x chaos will instantly lock in say 3rd or 4th and pull hard.

Hmm sounds like a problem with the tune. Xstreet should be locked in from 3rd on and Xrace is from 2nd on.
